About Dan Furze

Dan Furze is an amateur triathlete racing under the banner of the Kona Dream Project - a public, documented pursuit of qualification for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii.

Coached by Andy Brodziak of Tri-tanium, Dan trains and races full-distance and 70.3 Ironman events, with Ironman Japan South Hokkaido as the current build target. Full race history and results are on the Race Calendar.

The Kona Dream Project itself is the documentation of that journey - training logs, race strategy breakdowns, and the free tools on this site (training zone calculators, a race-day kit list, Ironman course maps, and a Kona Roll-Down Tracker) built along the way for other triathletes chasing the same goal.
